Made it to Quebec, all the talk about them 'wanting' to be a different country, when you arrive in rural Quebec it feels like a different country! I stopped in Cabana, QC (it sounds more like a place in Mexico, not rural Quebec) for some Subway. Would have liked to avoid the chain restaurants on this trip, but not too many quick'ish options unfortunately. I'm lucky I got what I ordered.. and that they realized something was up when they tried to charge me $21 for a 12" egg salad combo, haha!
Now I'm off to St. Hubert (no, not the restaurant) which is just outside Montreal. A fellow Brewnoser had a gift certificate he kindly passed on to me for a spot there with good food/beer when I asked for a recommendation for a spot outside Montreal (not really a big fan of driving through Montreal and parking the cube if I can help it).
